WEB APPLICATIONS
These applications are known as server-side applications because unlike most of the programmes we use, the internal calculations and data processing are done in a remote computer. Our computer, named the 'client', comunicates with the server sending and receiving the information trough a web browser.
As you can guess, one server can interact with a lot of clients simultaneusly, hence, every client can share the same data and can use the same application from different places with no more requirements than a simple web browser connected to the internet (or other network).
